About Us

I don't know about you, but I happen to love interior design. The older I get, the more I seem to love being home more than anything else. And I know I'm not alone here! Sprinkle in a global pandemic and we are all spending a lot more time at home than we have in the past. Thus my idea was born. 

For those of you who are new to my page, my name is Colleen. I started my journey by trying to keep busy during my many months at home in 2020. Learning to sew was challenging, but I have had so much fun working with my hands to create something special out of beautiful fabric.

Having your own space is considered a pretty basic human need. I want to help bring each person their own little slice of home to whatever living situation they are in! Whether it be a dorm room, your parents' house, your 9th apartment in 8 years (ahem, me), or the living room you share with six roommates. We all deserve the small comforts that come with personal home decor. Enter Cushion Cosies: the zippered, removable covers that can be used with any existing pillow insert. 

Lastly, one thing I love about the idea of changeable covers is erasing the need to buy multiple pillows for different holidays/times of the year. The functionality of holiday decor pillows is minimal when you can't remove the seasonal covers. Cushion Cosies solves the problem of storing bulky throw pillows, while still allowing the versatility of seasonal decor! Each "Cosy" comes with its own washing instructions, and can easily be folded and packed away for a fraction of the storage space.
